Ukraine in Brief:
The 64th day of the Ukrainian people’s heroic struggle against the russian military invasion goes on.

No substantial changes in enemy activities in the north of Ukraine have been registered. The enemy air force continues its missile and airstrikes from the territory of belarus of facilities across Ukraine.

Additional rosgvardia (russian national guard) units have been moved into the border area towards the Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts.

On the territory of the belgorod oblast near the border with the Kharkiv Oblast, the enemy has deployed up to five battalions of TBMS Iskander-M. The enemy continues regrouping its forces. Enemy units had attempted an offensive of Ukraine’s Defense Forces in the directions of Brazhkivka and Dovhenke but saw no success and had to retreat with losses. The invaders have also failed in an attempt to take control of some key facilities in Velyka Komyshuvakha. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have restored their control of Kutuzivka, Kharkiv Oblast.

Russian occupation troops were firing at positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts using MRLS and artillery practically along the whole contact line. The aggressors had tried to capture Rubizhne yet failed, sustained losses fully, and had to retreat to the previous objectives.

The enemy continued its airstrikes on Mariupol, focussing its core efforts on the blockading of Ukrainian units in the area of Azovstal Mill to prevent them from breaking out of the siege.

The enemy carried on its offensive towards Neskuchne and Vremivka in the direction of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya, though with no success. It continues strengthening its military task force.

Enemy’s attempts to storm the areas of Oleksandrivka, Tavriyske, Ivanivka, and Zahradivka, Mykolaiv Oblast, have been successfully repelled.

Russia launched a missile strike on the Shevchenkivskyi District of the capital on the evening of April 28th.

The shell hit the lower floors of a residential building. At the moment, three people are hospitalized. Rescuers and medics are working at the scene.
