​​We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer in Datassential for our team in Kyiv, Ukraine !

DATA ENGINEER

Desired skills:
• Expert in SQL and able to write structured and efficient queries on large data sets.
• Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud / Data Warehouse or similar (e.g. Redshift, Big Query, etc.)
• Experience with Looker
• Experience with ETL tools such as Airflow and
• Experience working in git workflows
• Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders to translate business needs and ideas into clearly defined data models and SQL queries
• Experience with Python a plus

Responsibilities:
• Architect performant, accurate, and scalable data models using dbt and LookML
• Set up tests to ensure data quality, monitor daily job execution, and diagnose/fix issues
• Understand business context and support analysts/business stakeholders in creating Looker Explores and Dashboards
• Document work, prioritize data governance, and evangelize best practices
• Incorporate automation wherever possible to improve access to data and analyses
