The US Senate Foreign Relations Committee has approved a resolution to include Russia in the list of State Sponsors of Terrorism

This is one of the decisions that our delegation sought while working last week in the US. We held dozens of meetings, conversations, live broadcasts and discussions to finally push through the issue that was fundamental for us.

However, we can't claim all the credit, because Ukraine's main lobbyists in the US are President Volodymyr Zelensky and the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, who together with Michael McFaul has been developing and realizing a strong sanctions policy against Russia. But I can at least confirm that our trip has also been fruitful.

The US decision in support of Ukraine is not the only one that we worked on last week. Some of our trip's results are already felt at the front, while others will be very shortly. But the most important outcome is seeing our allies change their approach to supporting Ukraine, and that is what guarantees us a joint victory over totalitarianism in Europe.

I'd like to thank all the senators who supported this resolution. The next step is working with the US Administration to implement it. That will be a very powerful step in the sanction pressure on the citizens of the aggressor state.
