We are looking for a Junior UI/UX Designer who will help us to bring our educational web technology Classtime to the next level. The core mission of the Junior UI/UX Designer is to delight our student and teacher users by translating their complex challenges into effortless, beautiful experiences. With more than 80,000 teachers in Ukraine registered on Classtime, our team is especially dedicated to making an impact by delivering the best possible remote teaching experience for Ukrainian students throughout the country and abroad.

Очікування:

Must have:
— An online portfolio of previous design work demonstrating strong UX, UI, visual design capabilities.
— Strong understanding of UI design applications such as Sketch App, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma.
— Ability to iteratively sketch and wireframe product concepts for team communication.
— Ability to work in an environment that promotes frequent product releases while maintaining a big-picture vision.
— Strong sense of responsibility and ownership for our product experience.
— Listening skills and curiosity: a passion for engaging with customers internationally, listening to their challenges, and translating those into delightful experiences.

Nice-to-have:
— Ability to prototype in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, AfterEffects, or other tools.
— Experience with Webflow.
— Experience with InVision.
— Experience working with scrum methodology.
— Previous education & educational design experience.
— Previous experience within a startup environment.
— Previous experience working with a remote/distributed team.

— Together with our lead product designer, our clients, product manager, software engineers, and growth team, you will help to wireframe, design, and verify our product design.
— You are driven and motivated to contribute to multiple design projects.
— You’re excited to work in cross-functional teams (engineering, growth, product) to develop a keen understanding of our clients’ needs in order to provide exceptional solutions to current and prospective customers.
— You love working in education and keep up-to-date with ever-changing market trends, gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance product experiences.
— Have a good understanding of responsive UX design for web products.
