I will tell you this from my experience.

When I was 14 I had bad physic with a lot of fat for that age even with cellulite on the abdomen. One day my father told me to go and do some pull-ups. Then I lived in the village, and we had a bar for pull-ups In the courtyard. He did 10, and I did one with bad form. He said: "You're like a sausage on a horizontal bar" and I started to cry.

Because of further bullying, and my unattractiveness At an age of 15 I started to do pull-ups every single day. I had no internet and knowledge, despite all that, I did 1 set to the maximum every day. For 1 year I increased the pull-ups from 1 to 23. 

At the age of 16 almost 17, I constructed a mini gym at home and my parents bought me additional weight for weight lifting. I put on some muscles, I became more confident. When I was 16 my body weight was 61 kilos at 17 — 72 kilos. I trained extremely hard with my home gym to achieve my dream physic.

Then I moved to the city and go to the gym to become absolutely strong. I've been obsessed with that with hard training, weightlifting. I put on more muscles and developed myself, not only outside. My weight now is 80 kilos. And I'm feeling perfect, getting stronger in weight lifting I also started to be motivation for others.

I am a big fan of books. In my opinion, in the modern world, it is a necessity. I might be wrong, but my arguments can explain why I'm continuing to think in that way. For sure, we have analogs that can switch or remove the role of the book, but the preferences of the majority are short clips, brief texts, or instructions, the worst thing that 75% of this is absolutely shit, so it can't be better than books.

I can see how the world is changing, the crowd absorbing more stuff without thinking, without sense. So you are just wasting your time and getting more stupid.
These videos and information aren't so hard, it means that your brain isn't updating and won't be stronger, smarter ...

What's the purpose of a book? For me, books are the best instrument for growing, because your imagination, mind, and so on are trying to catch the information, analyze what is read to reproduce in the future to build neuro connections. Thanks to the book, you can become more erudite and aware of what is needed in our world to separate the rational grain from the garbage chaos of the informatized world.

I'm starting a new column on my thoughts in English.
It will be all about how I learn English, my experience in that, and my life. So I hope it's going to be helpful for you.

So, today, I will say why I started to learn English. Let's start with that, I had at school French, but I've never liked it because from the beginning French was hard provided I was in 2nd grade, but my schoolmates know it better.

Then in 6th grade, we have English but only for a few months. Then we didn't have this language anymore at school. I liked English, but I don't have the possibility to learn it and the internet till 15. I wanted to start learning because everyone says that it is impossible to learn by yourself in Ukraine without a tutor or English-speaking country. Besides, no one in my family studied a foreign language. So I decided, I'm gonna be the first. I asked my mother to find a teacher somewhere in other villages, but for years I heard that she would find someone, but there was no one. When I finally got tired of it, at the age of 16 I decided to start learning English.
