Як же ж я люблю phrasal verbs :
to bring - "принести", а to bring up - вже "згадувати". Ось і здогадайся тут.

Одне втішає: коли ти з phrasal verbs "на ти", то почуваєш себе майже нейтівом: адже вони їх використовують дуже часто і з легкістю.
Тому не зупиняємось і додаємо до свого вокабу:

to bring up - згадувати
EG.: I’m not sure if now’s the right time to bring this up, but have you thought any more about our holiday?

to flick through - дивитися, але не детально
EG.: I’ve flicked through your report but I’ll study it in detail later.

to get across - пояснювати, повідомляти
EG.: We need to get across the idea that this product is the best!

to put forward - запропонувати (ідею для розгляду)
EG.: Some of the students have put forward the idea of a trip to a castle.

to read up about - отримати детальну інформацію про щось шляхом дослідження
EG.: It's a good idea to read up on a company before going for an interview.
