Ukraine is already in the top-5 countries on cryptocurrency usage.

The Ukrainian Parliament adopted the law on virtual assets on 17 February 2022!

This law will legalize crypto exchange services and cryptocurrencies. Consequently, it will allow Ukrainians to legally protect their assets from possible abuse or fraud.

“The new law is an additional opportunity for business development in our country. Foreign and Ukrainian crypto companies will be able to operate legally, and Ukrainians will have convenient and secure access to the global market for virtual assets,” Mykhaylo Fedorov, Ukrainian minister of digital transformation, said in a statement.

Government officials are hopeful that the new law will attract more foreign investment into Ukraine’s crypto market.

IBOX BANK, a Ukrainian transactional bank, became the first bank in the history of Ukraine to receive a license from the Regulatory Commission on Gambling and Lotteries to operate in the field of gambling business.

In 2021, the bank launched Apple Pay and the Garmin Pay service for Visa holders enabling one-click payments on websites and mobile apps. The particular interest of the market is associated with the start of the bank’s work with MCC 7995 (merchant category code), which refers to gambling transactions.

Thanks to it, IBOX BANK began accepting payments in favor of casinos in Ukraine, which received a license from the Gambling and Lottery Regulatory Commission of Ukraine.

Player’s card is made in a form of a plastic card. Information about the person’s parameters (digital photo, full name, date of birth) is recorded on the contactless electronic storage device. Each card will have a unique number.

The player identification card is displayed in an electronic form in the mobile application of the gambling operator and contains information about the person’s parameters (digital photo, full name, date of birth). The E-card will have a special barcode.

If these card parameters are violated, the corresponding player’s card will be considered invalid!

2021-11-11 14:41:16 Memorandum on Advertising of Gambling in Ukraine.

At the session of the Ukrainian Gambling Council (UGC), representatives of 11 officially registered casinos and sportsbooks have approved a Memorandum on gambling advertising.

According to the approved document, licensees are prohibited from placing ads in the following sources:
radio and television (cable, online, digital, satellite) from 06:00 to 23:00
all publications except those devoted to gambling
all media, except specialized press sources
exterior and interior surfaces of vehicles and subway
outdoor advertising
goods for those under 21 years old
venues where events for those under 21 years old are held

At the same time, the advertising should not convey the idea that it is easy to win in games of chance and that gambling can be a source of income or a job alternative.

Notably, operators were not left much room to promote their services, but they still found ways to advertise legally.
