When you expand the profile picture, it opens a full 1080 by 1080 px picture, on the thumbnail without expansion it is 150 by 150 px
However, it is worth noting that in fact the profile picture is actually a square, and what is behind the circle can still only be seen by privileged mods users — a similar feature in Tiktok shows a square image
This feature is still under development, so for example the size of the circle has not yet been set and may change in the release, also being tested two ways of expanding, on the simple tap or long press on the profile picture
