add a mentions to Stories even after it has been uploaded
When you open your Story and select more options, you'll see a new item —
Add mentions
Once you've selected the users you need, it will be not allowed to remove these mentions, it is only allowed to add them — despite the fact that no text tag is created in Story
Instagram is also working on a very highly anticipated feature — if a Story has mentions, you will see a dedicated icon under the user's nickname, tapping on which you'll see a list of all the users mentioned in that StoryCuriously, the ability to add mentions is currently rolling out, however the list of all mentions is a different feature that they're in no hurry to roll out yet
Therefore, add mentions is useless, because other users won't see them anyway, unless the mentioned user will have an ability to add this Story to his own
