The Independence Day has a special meaning for Americans, as well as for the Ukrainian people, as it reflects their deep history, the struggle for freedom and human values.
The Declaration of Independence of the United States of America was taken as a basis for many constitutions of the world. It historically indicates the democratic rights and freedoms that have created ground for the state development of the United States.
We are grateful to our American friends, to the United States Government and to the entire American people for their comprehensive support of the Ukrainian state in such a difficult time. Today, in heavy bloody battles, the Ukrainian people are fighting for their TRUE INDEPENDENCE.
