Overview: Geneva Call is an international humanitarian organization that endeavours to strengthen the respect of humanitarian norms and principles by armed groups, in order to improve the protection of civilians, using varied awareness-raising and training tools.

Main duties:
• the focal point for the office concerning administrative tasks
• office space planning, identification of office needs, monitoring expenditures related to stationary and office supplies
• translation and interpretations, as required
• meetings attendance and notes taking, as required
• local procurement and organization of field visits, meetings, awareness-raising campaigns, events, information dissemination workshops, etc. for target groups
• offline and online event-planning
• venue management and related services

Requirements:
• University degree in a relevant field, such as Political or Social Science, International Humanitarian Law, Human Rights, International Law, International Relations, or any related field
• strong research, writing and editing skills, including report writing, both in English and Ukrainian
• ability to work with IT Tools (MS Office, email, social media)
• good knowledge of International Humanitarian Law and human rights is an asset, but not required
• experience from working in a humanitarian/recovery context is preferable
• fluency in English and Ukrainian, written and spoken
• excellent interpersonal skills with ability to adapt in a multicultural environment
• understanding and respect for organizational principles, vision, mission and confidentiality
• ability to work independently and as part of a team

• full-time employment
• work from home is allowed
• fixed-term contract
