We’re looking for
Software Engineer in Test/QA Automation (mobile, Java)
Overview: Our client is an aggregating streaming platform, bringing together radio, music, live sports and podcasts from around the globe. More than 80 million monthly active users, it’s a top-notch engineering organization with high standards for code and people.
Responsibilities:
• automate testing for mobile applications
• set up test environments and collect test data
• integrate test automation with CI/CD pipeline
• create and improve automated test suites and frameworks
• collaborate with other automation engineers to expand our Appium test suite
• test new and updated product features on the iOS/Android apps
• be responsible for ensuring quality of the iOS/Android products
• support other types of quality targets such as performance, load and stress testing
• work closely with team members to clarify requirements and expectation
Requirements:
• 3+ years of software quality assurance experience (preferably Java based)
• strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• experience and knowledge of Appium, Xcode and Android Studio
• experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• experience using third party Web Debugging Proxy tools like Charles or Fiddler
• strong attention to detail, regarding Mobile app design and usability
• track record of good time management, prioritizing projects and estimating work
• ability to be a team player and drive collaborative efforts to improve product quality
• ability to work in high-pressured environment and work both independently and in a team environment
• understanding of Agile Development Methodology (Scrum)
