Merkle Outflox – Implementation Specialist, Google Analytics

Merkle Outfox is a consultancy firm with expertise in the areas of digital analytics and conversion optimization.

Your responsibilities:
- help our clients implement data collection through the use of Google Tag Manager and JavaScript;
- offer strategic advice to clients about which data to collect and how to use it;
- create implementation instructions for our clients’ developers and help with the implementation;
- work daily with Google Analytics, JavaScript, and Google Tag Manager;
- configure A/B tests using Google Optimize;
- perform quality assurance and testing;
- work iteratively and through continuous communication with clients, make progress toward goals.

Your Skills and Abilities:
Must haves:
- experience of coding javascript. Creating it, not just modifying it. You need to be able to understand and create code at intermediate level;
OR
- degree, vocational education, training within computer and systems sciences or a similar relevant background. You need to be able to understand and create code at intermediate level;
- team player yet able to work on your own, when needed;
- ability to plan your work well, enjoy the iterative process, and stick to deadlines;
- A high level of English is needed as you will be writing instructions for clients.

Preferential additional skills:
- experience in working with support and/or as a consultant;
- previous working experience from implementing Google Analytics and using Google Tag Manager;
- previous experience working with SQL, BigQuery, jQuery (and other JavaScript libraries).
