Latest Rental data in the UK: March 2022

• The average rent in the UK is now at £1,078, up 8.7% on the same time last year, and 0.8% from last month’s figures.
• Every region in the UK has seen annual growth.
• London’s average monthly price has increased by 0.7% from last month to £1,770 PCM, 11.6% higher than in March 2021.
• Excluding London, the average UK rent price is 7.4% higher than last year and 0.9% higher than in February, up to £910 PCM.
• Wales is the only region which has seen a price decrease from February's figures, down 0.1% to £726
• Scotland saw the highest annual increase - up to £770, a 12.9% rise since March 2021
