American Air Force Major General Frederick Corbin Blesse, wrote a manual about air-to-air combat in 1955 and he entitled it, No Guts, No Glory. The manual is still considered a primer on air combat.

Fear no colors.

To be brave in a dangerous situation. "Colors" has a military connotation, although the phrase can be used more broadly than that.
