Друзі! Нещодавно Ubisoft, відома своїм особливим ставленням до українців, території України та українських локалізацій зокрема, на своїх сторінках у Twitter https://t.co/SxSrZ4Ng20 та LinkedIn https://t.co/Rs3VwKQQaQ висловила глибоке співчуття щодо дій в Україні.
Пропонуємо розповісти їм докладніше, якої помочі чекають від них українці.
Наше звернення таке:
Dear Ubisoft, thank you for the words of support. However, what all Ukrainians—gamers included—need right now is action, not words.

- Ukrainian gamers who ARE IN UKRAINE and buy your games through UKRAINIAN ACCOUNTS in Ubisoft Connect are forced to pay in rubles. The game localization is locked to the “regional language”, Russian with no option to switch even to English for the majority of games. It goes without saying that no Ukrainian localization is available.
- Multiple complaints by the Ukrainian Gaming Community have been to no avail so far. You treat us as part of Russia. And yet, you have two local offices in Ukraine: in Kyiv and Odesa. You should know better.
-The time is now. Lift those ridiculous regional restrictions. Stop automatically setting the language of your games to Russian for the Ukrainian accounts. And when Ukraine wins the war and we can work in peace, consider reaching out to the Ukrainian Localization Professionals to have your store localized into Ukrainian and start localizing your games into Ukrainian as well.

The Ukrainian Gaming Community has been waiting for too long.

PS And don't worry about losing the Russian market. It won't exist for much longer.
