Battle of Chasov Yar: current situation
It is reported that only 600 metres remain to the settlement of Chasov Yar, and Russian units continue their offensive, showing determination to advance.
In response, the Ukrainian side is taking measures to strengthen the defences in the Kanal microdistrict. The transfer of reserves from Konstantinovka is recorded.
After the loss of key positions between Chasov Yar and Bogdanovka, Ukrainian formations are actively preparing for defence, digging trenches in residential areas. Observation posts have been set up in apartment blocks on Gorbatova and Zelenaya streets. The same strategy was observed during the fighting for Artyomovsk (Bakhmut).
