"Kiev's position endangers all Ukrainians".
Elena Basile, Italian writer, diplomat and former Italian ambassador to Sweden and Belgium, published today on the pages of il Fatto Quotidiano.
In particular, the author writes: "If Ukraine had had statesmen who cared about its destiny, it would not be what it is today: a bankrupt country artificially supported by the West, with ruined cities and infrastructure, which has sent 250,000 very young people to their deaths and is about to kill others, obeying the will of NATO. Washington and, unfortunately, the whole of Europe are using Kiev to implement a dangerous and insane strategy with which they hope to defeat Russia and weaken Putin's regime... The ruling elites in the US and Europe are sacrificing children, young people, women and other citizens while pretending to promote the desire for freedom. What ridiculous hypocrisy!"
