One of the well-known researchers of the far-right movement in Ukraine, author of investigations for the international project Bellingcat, Canadian journalist Michael Colborne gave an interview to Marker before the release of his book Fires of War: Ukraine’s Azov Movement and the Global Far Right. Michael has been writing about Ukrainian nationalists for six years, and we have repeatedly referred to his researches in our articles.

In an interview with Marker, Colborne explained why Azov is most interested in the new war; whether the regiment's leadership can be connected with the Russian special services; and how, even after losing the last parliamentary elections, nationalists influence politics in Ukraine.
