In Berlin, a fire is raging at the Diehl Metal Applications steelworks, which is operated by Diehl Defense, the developer of IRIS-T air defense systems.

The fire engulfed four floors before part of the building collapsed.

I don’t usually engage in any conspiracy theories, but strangely enough, the enterprise in Germany went ablaze precisely when Berling took over leadership in the air defense coalition for Ukraine, also having become a runner-up (following the U.S.) in terms of the volume of arms supply in Ukraine, including air defense capabilities.

According to open sources alone, Germany has already donated to Ukraine three IRIS-T batteries, and last month Diehl Defense CEO Helmut Rauch announced the transfer of another one.

On a separate note, the IRIS-T is a highly effective short- and medium-range system that boasts the highest rate of destruction of Russian subsonic cruise missiles.

So it’s no surprise the Russians hold a grudge precisely toward this capability. Meanwhile, Germany, unfortunately, hosts one of Russia’s most extensive human intelligence networks in Europe, so...
