The power of the explosion is nowhere near that of a 122mm projectile.
What it’s close to is an OFAB–500 bomb, some of which have already fallen on the heads of Belgorod residents from Russian Su-34s. The only difference is that previously, those incidents didn't lead to such devastating consequences.
On a separate note, the video shows no diagonal trajectory of the incoming jet projectile, taking into account the flight path. This, in turn, leads to a conclusion that we’re dealing with a free, vertical fall of a bomb in which the UMPC module failed to initialize.
While the Russian invasion forces in the border areas of Kharkiv region are imitating an “epic” offensive, they have ramped up the use of these very OFAB-500 bombs with the UMPC “brain”.
Of course, Belgorod residents are trigger-happy to blame Ukrainians, although both Ukrainians and Belgorod locals get killed by the very same beasts.
