The world's tallest mountain, Mount Everest, continues to grow!
Due to the collision of tectonic plates, the Himalayan mountain range, which includes Mount Everest, is still rising at a rate of about 4 millimeters per year.
So, while Everest already stands at a towering height of 8,848 meters, it's still getting a little bit closer to the sky with each passing year.
