On July 4, President von der Leyen took part in the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Lugano , where the ‘Lugano Declaration’ with its 7 principles was adopted.
Amongst other things, the President spoke about the establishment of the platform for the reconstruction of Ukraine to coordinate the actions of international partners led by Ukraine.
This autumn President von der Leyen and Federal Chancellor Scholz will convene the world's leading reconstruction experts and international partners for the next high-level conference to outline the next steps within the framework of the platform.
