The cult role-playing game Gothic has turned 22 years old, and THQ Nordic has released a screenshot with an updated interface.
In the upper left corner, we can see slots for equipment - armor, amulet, two rings, and two weapons (the main character is equipped with a rusty sword and pickaxe, although in the original such a combination was impossible because the second slot was reserved for bows and crossbows).
On the right side, we see the inventory menu. It looks very similar to what was in the original, but now offers categorization of items.
! - It's worth noting the button markings. At first glance, they look like Xbox controller buttons, but the assigned ZL and ZR buttons to the weapons clearly indicate that we are dealing with a Switch version of the game.
— It's likely that the first part of the cult franchise will receive a console port. I think a patch is also planned for the PC, which will allow playing with a gamepad, as well as on the Steam Deck.
