"Днями відбулась телефонна розмова з Командувачем Повітряних Сил США в Європі та Африці генералом Джеймсом Хекером.

Розповів про 365 днів битви за українське небо, про поточну ситуацію на фронті, окремі питання організації протиповітряної оборони України. Також обговорили перспективні напрямки двостороннього співробітництва щодо постачання військової техніки, озброєння і боєприпасів у рамках міжнародної технічної допомоги Україні

Зокрема обговорили питання посилення спроможностей системи протиповітряної оборони України в контексті можливого надання Повітряним Силам Збройних Сил України багатоцільових літаків F-16.
Подякував генералу Джеймсу Хекеру, керівництву та народу Сполучених Штатів Америки за послідовну підтримку нашої держави Разом – до перемоги!"

"The other day I had a telephone conversation with the Commander of the US Air Forces in Europe and Africa, General James Hacker.

We discussed 365 days of the battle for Ukrainian skies, the current situation at the frontline, and some issues of the air defense of Ukraine. Prospective areas of bilateral cooperation regarding the supply of military equipment, weapons and ammunition as part of international assistance to Ukraine were also discussed.

In particular, I discussed the issue of strengthening the capabilities of the air defense of Ukraine in the context of the possible provision of multipurpose F-16 jets to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
I thanked General James Hacker, as well as the government and the people of the United States of America for their consistent support of our country.
