2022-06-05 13:58:10 Borodyanka is a small urban-type settlement in Kyiv Oblast with a population of 13,000, which was nearly destroyed by the russian invaders.

Before the war, its main secondary school was attended by a third of the town's schoolchildren. After the invasion, it became a temporary shelter for the occupiers, which they shelled with their tanks afterwards.

Today, all its students study remotely. Borodyanka will be rebuilt eventually, but its youngest residents should be able to return to their classes immediately after the end of hostilities. Hence, this charity lot is one of the priorities for the Ministry of Infrastructure.

2022-06-05 12:52:18 During the war, shrapnel wounds are one of the most common and severe injuries. The wounded needs immediate emergency help. Shrapnel must be removed as soon as possible, which is not always possible without special equipment.

That is why surgical C-arm X-ray machines have become one of the target lots for large donors. The Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine defined the required number of such equipment — 480 units.

Such a purchase requires significant funds. However, we believe that together we can manage to do this task. 2022-06-05 12:27:26 The first charity lot at the UNITED24 stand at the World Economic Forum in Davos is a bridge crossing over the Irpin River at the public highway М 07 Kyiv — Kovel — Jagodyn, which is a part of the European route Lublin — Kovel — Kyiv.

The crossing was blown up to stop the advance of the russian troops towards the capital. As a result of this necessary precaution, thousands of people could not evacuate and receive assistance on time.

Highway М 07 remains an important transport road which enables logistics between Ukraine and Poland. That is why the restoration of this route is a matter of the highest priority.

This amount was transferred to the NBU accounts from 5 to 27 May.

There is real help behind every donation.This time, to counter russian invasion, the funds were used to procure seven special vehicles for the Ukrainian military at the front. A total of $5,742,627 was allocated for the purchase of transport.

The Ministry of Health spent a total of UAH 26,500,000 ($906,856) on the procurement of 35 artificial lung ventilation devices (ALV) to help doctors save the lives of Ukrainians.

So far, the Ministry of Infrastructure has received $277,487, which is unfortunately not enough to rebuild even a single facility. Therefore, funds for the reconstruction of Ukraine continue to accumulate.

The emergency medical service of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, which was one of the outposts on the medical front, also received an ALV machine. Its director Radiy Shevchenko says that since February 24, more than 3,200 medical institution’s employees have been working in a high-alert mode.

“I will never forget how on April 8, 2022, we immediately went to the city of Kramatorsk to help evacuate the victims of the explosion at the railway station to Dnipro. Wounded children, women, the elderly, – it was one of the most horrific things we have seen in our lives. ALVs are required to transport the patients in critical condition, and I am grateful that we are now receiving them thanks to the UNITED24 platform,” he recalls
