Understanding is the very truth. You understand... you have become the truth. Truth is not somewhere waiting for you to happen; it is through your understanding that it will be revealed – revealed within you.
Розуміння - це сама правда.  Ти розумієш... ти став правдою.  Істина не десь чекає, коли ви трапитеся;  саме через ваше розуміння це буде розкрито – розкрито всередині вас.

But truth is not a goal at all, so how can it be easy or difficult?
Але правда - це зовсім не мета(загальна ціль), тож як це може бути легко чи важко?

There are people who say truth is very very difficult. They are saying something which is absolutely ignorant. There is an opposite school which says, ”Truth is easy – there is no problem. Just understand and it is easy.” They are also saying something which is not right. And both things can be understood by the mind. Difficult? – the mind can find techniques and ways and means, and it can be made easy.
Є люди, які кажуть, що правда дуже-дуже складна. Вони говорять щось абсолютно неосвічене. Є протилежна школа, яка каже: «Істина легка – немає проблем. Просто зрозумійте, і це легко». Вони також говорять щось неправильне. І обидві речі можна зрозуміти розумом. Важко? – розум може знаходити техніки, шляхи та засоби, і це можна зробити легким.

Three thousand years ago traveling was difficult. Now it is almost as easy as anything: you simply enter an airplane and do nothing, just rest. And by the time you have taken your tea, you have reached. If the goal is difficult it can be made easy.
Три тисячі років тому подорожувати було важко. Тепер це майже так само просто: ви просто сідаєте в літак і нічого не робите, просто відпочиваєте. І до того часу, як ви випили чай, ви досягли. Якщо мета складна, її можна зробити легкою.

Zen masters say that "To live in the great way it is neither easy nor difficult."
Майстри Дзен кажуть, що «Жити у великий спосіб не легко і не важко».

You might ask then what is this Great Way? This Great Way is your nature – you are already it! That’s why it is not a goal. It is not going to be something in the future. No time is needed for it to happen. You have always been in it, it is already the case. You are at the goal, you exist in the goal. You cannot exist out of it, there is no possibility of going out of it. How so ever much you wander you cannot go out of it. Wherever you go you will carry your Tao within you. It is your intrinsic nature. It is not dispensable, you cannot put it aside and forget it. You are already there because HERE is that ’there.’ You need not look in the future: you simply be here and you find it.
Тоді ви можете запитати, що це за Великий Шлях? Цей Великий Шлях є вашою природою – ви вже ним є! Тому це не мета. Це не буде чимось у майбутньому. Для цього не потрібен час. Ви завжди були в цьому, це вже так. Ти біля мети, ти існуєш у меті. Ви не можете існувати поза ним, немає можливості вийти з цього. Скільки б ви не блукали, ви не можете вийти з цього. Куди б ви не пішли, ви носите своє Дао в собі. Це ваша внутрішня природа. Він не є незамінним, його не можна відкласти і забути. Ви вже там, тому що ТУТ це те «там». Вам не потрібно шукати в майбутньому: ви просто тут і ви його знайдете.

Seek and you will miss. Don’t seek, just be, and it is there. And you will laugh because it has been always there – just because of your seeking you were missing it, just because you were so much in a hurry you couldn’t see within.
Шукай і промахнешся. Не шукай, просто будь, і воно є. І ви будете сміятися, тому що це було завжди – тільки тому, що ви шукали, вам не вистачало цього, просто тому, що ви так поспішали, що не могли бачити в собі.
