Senior Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Manager
to Global Communities
Overview: Global Communities is a non-commercial organization that delivers essential solutions to complex challenges from the intersection of humanitarian assistance, sustainable development and financial inclusion. Vacancy involves work in Community-Led Emergency Action and Response (CLEAR) program.
Main duties:
• developing and overseeing systems and mechanisms for data collection to monitor the development of defined indicators under the reporting framework
• creating, maintaining, and further developing qualitative and quantitative practices and processes
• integrating periodic evaluations
• providing oversight and support to the implementation of partner monitoring and evaluation activities
• overseeing MEL workplan and its deadlines
• compiling and reviewing reports, capturing activities’ progress, lessons learned
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred in economics, management, public policy, or other relevant discipline
• 8+ years of experience in the field of MEL with at least 3 years of experience working in a humanitarian context in Ukraine or internationally
• knowledge of USAID MEL requirements, policies and regulations
• experience in capacity development and mentoring local CSO implementing partners in the use of MEL systems
• proficiency in English and Ukrainian
• ability and willingness to travel (up to 25%) throughout Ukraine
