A smart tracker from Huawei!
Huawei has announced its first device designed to search for forgotten or lost things: the novelty is called Huawei Tag.
The tracker supports Bluetooth wireless communication and NFC technology. It can only be paired with smartphones running the proprietary operating system HarmonyOS 2.0 .
It works in the same way as the AirTag: if the item has been lost, other Huawei smartphones nearby will transmit data about the location of the tag through the Huawei Find network.
The product is enclosed in a small body, and weighs 6 g. One battery will last more than a year of use.
In China, the Huawei Tag is priced at 99 yuan, and the leather keychain-holder will cost another 69 yuan. The tags will go on sale on July 30.
