Ticktocker creates mechanical prosthetics

Ryan Saavedra shared his video diary on TikTok, in which he talks about how an ordinary university project gradually became his life's work. In his work, he studied the impulses the brain sends out every time you want to make a hand movement.

Ryan set out to create a mechanical hand that could read those impulses and make the corresponding movement. It took three years to develop and now his company AltBionics is successfully supplying his design to people with limb loss
