Results of KRAIL’s work in 2021. In 2021, the regulator has issued a total of 4 110 different licenses (for gambling activities and gambling equipment) and permits, which led to budget receiving over UAH1.5 billion. The other highlighted achievements include:
Establishment of international cooperation, exchange of experience with Belgium, Denmark, Latvia, Singapore, and Italy.
Adoption of the principles of responsible gambling.
Launch of an interactive map (in test mode).
Establishment and launch of the Register of Restricted Players, which includes 195 people already.
Provision of law enforcement officers with information on a possible operation of 500 illegal gaming establishments and 1 579 illegal online casinos.
