IBOX BANK Became First Bank in Ukraine to Receive Gambling License. IBOX BANK, a Ukrainian transactional bank, became the first bank in the history of Ukraine to receive a license from the Regulatory Commission on Gambling and Lotteries to operate in the field of gambling business.
In 2021, the bank launched Apple Pay and the Garmin Pay service for Visa holders enabling one-click payments on websites and mobile apps. The particular interest of the market is associated with the start of the bank’s work with MCC 7995 (merchant category code), which refers to gambling transactions.
Thanks to it, IBOX BANK began accepting payments in favor of casinos in Ukraine, which received a license from the Gambling and Lottery Regulatory Commission of Ukraine.
