Ukraine Legalized Cryptocurrencies! Ukraine is already in the top-5 countries on cryptocurrency usage.
The Ukrainian Parliament adopted the law on virtual assets on 17 February 2022!
This law will legalize crypto exchange services and cryptocurrencies. Consequently, it will allow Ukrainians to legally protect their assets from possible abuse or fraud.
“The new law is an additional opportunity for business development in our country. Foreign and Ukrainian crypto companies will be able to operate legally, and Ukrainians will have convenient and secure access to the global market for virtual assets,” Mykhaylo Fedorov, Ukrainian minister of digital transformation, said in a statement.
Government officials are hopeful that the new law will attract more foreign investment into Ukraine’s crypto market.
