make friends" (подружитися), я упевнена, більшість з вас знають, а ось дещо поцікавіше:
To pal around — приятелювати з кимось.
Ex:
They have palled around for a few years. To be close-knit (tight-knit) friends — бути дуже близькими друзями
Ex:
We have such a wonderfully close - knit group of friends who all did their bit to make this an event to remember. (Можна також сказати: close-knit family / community та ін.)
Through thick and thin — в горі і в радості, не зважаючи ні на що
Ex:
You have a special friend, who has followed you through thick and thin. Are you, guys, close-knit friends with someone who stays with you through thick and thin?
