Ukraine stands and the whole world stands alongside its citizens. We continue to spread the truth about war in Ukraine, because the media battlefield is as important as the real armed battlefield. Here are some pin-point events that happened in Ukraine for the last two weeks.

Frontline situation:
Russian forces attack Severodonetsk from all directions. Russian troops are attacking Ukrainian soldiers along the entire frontline, throwing all their forces into the city, according to Mayor Oleksandr Striuk. Chaotic attacks are continuously happening in Mykolaiv district. In total, five people were injured in the region after the latest air strikes, the head of the regional council Anna Zamazeeva stated. Bashtansky, Mykolayiv, Shirokivska, Bereznehuvatska, Halytsynivska and Pervomaiska communities came under fire. Houses, schools, social and industrial facilities have been damaged by the latest air attacks.
Kharkiv is one of the cities that are being constantly attacked, but that does not scare the citizens and they continue rebuilding and taking care of their city.

Awaited visit:
French President Emmanuel Macron, German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi paid an official visit to Ukraine. They were introduced to the consequences of the occupation of Bucha in order to understand the real essence of Russian peace. As a result of the visit, the leaders of France, Germany and Italy have vowed to support Ukraine’s bid to join the European Union. The friend of Ukraine - the prime minister of Britain - Boris Johnson also paid a surprise visit to Ukraine offering a training program for the country’s military in a fresh show of support for Ukraine’s government just a day after key European leaders made a similar trip.

Ukrainian dream:
European Union leaders on Thursday 23 of June agreed to make Ukraine a candidate for membership in the bloc, a symbolic win for Kyiv amid the war with Russia and another sign of how the conflict is reshaping the world. Although, candidacy is not a full membership yet, which can take more than decades, such news cheer up and give hope to almost every citizen of Ukraine.

Heavy weapons for Ukraine:
First heavy weapons from Germany have arrived in Ukraine, Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov stated on social media. As for now, our defenders are using the German Panzerhaubitze 2000, M777, FH70, M109, AHS Krab and Caesar. Latest weapons provided for Ukraine were provided by Germany, Netherlands and Australia.

Equal rights and safety:
The Istanbul convention has been passed by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which is a new advanced step to the safety of Ukrainian women. Moreover, the Istanbul Convention is a tool to advance in fighting violence against women and domestic violence and the assurance that Ukraine will be a decent candidate for the European Union; however it is an assurance of the equal treatment of rights of women.

The fact that Ukrainians get used to the fact that their motherland is under fire is upsetting, however, they are not broken. The spirits within Ukrainian society are calm and hopeful, united like never before, sharing kindness, donating for Ukrainian Bayraktar, saving businesses. However, we still need the support of the world in this war. You can be the token of truth, admired by millions of Ukrainians, simply by sharing the truth to the whole world or donating to Ukraine.

100 heroic days have passed since the Russian army had started the full scale attack on our country. 24-th of February will always remain the day that has changed everything and gathered all Ukrainians and their allies on the side of good. And we continue fighting on the media front.

We have gathered some of the breaking news within the latest fortnight:

Battle of Severodonetsk:
Russian artillery slammed Ukraine's eastern Donbas region with fierce fighting over the city of Severodonetsk, but the local governor said there was some progress in pushing back invading forces. However, the Armed forces of Ukraine along with the International legion are bravely defending the city.

Silent terror:
The attention of the world news to the war in Ukraine starts to crawl down, however we cannot remain silent or leave the occupied cities forgotten. Currently silent terrors are happening in cities such as Kherson, Melitopol and many others that have been occupied by the «Russian Peace». Exactly what is happening in Kherson and Melitopol is near impossible to establish from the outside, but as more testimonies are gathered, many paint a picture of fear, intimidation, abuse, violence and repression.

Outbreaks in the city of Mariupol:
Because of the mass spontaneous burials, unsanitary conditions and lack of access to drinking water, there is a risk of developing infectious diseases, including cholera, in occupied Mariupol. Another dangerous illness that can outbreak in Mariupol can be typhus. The Public Health Center of Ukraine says that without proper treatment, such diseases can be fatal. But with successful treatment, the disease ends in complete recovery.

Heroes are not forgotten:
With a certain reduction of attention to Ukraine, the attention drops to defenders of the «Last island of hope» - defenders of the Azovstal. Since May they have been captured on the occupied territories of Ukraine. President Zelensky has said Ukraine's intelligence officials are working on a plan to secure the release of the surviving fighters, without giving any further details.

Donations make difference:
The official funding platform https://u24.gov.ua/, previously announced by the President of Ukraine, has gathered 54 772 787 $ which were successfully redirected to the medical and demining facilities. All transfers can be seen on the site above.

We continue to fight for our freedom and land on our own battlefields such as social media, while the bravest ones from the Armed Forces of Ukraine defend us on real battlefields. These two weeks have been not the easiest, however not the hardest ones.
It has been now 3 months since the beginning of the full-scale war on the territory of Ukraine and here are some highlights:

Evacuation of the fighters of Azovstal. On May 16, the commander of the Azov Regiment, Denis Prokopenko, stated that the defenders of Mariupol had complied with the order of the Supreme Military Command" to save lives. According to Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar, 53 seriously wounded servicemen were evacuated from the Azovstal plant to a medical facility in occupied Novoazovsk. Another 211 Ukrainian soldiers were taken to Olenivka through a humanitarian corridor. Russia's Defense Ministry has previously said that 2,439 Ukrainian servicemen stationed near the Azovstal plant "surrendered". While official Kyiv, calls it an evacuation - an operation to rescue the local garrison. On May 21, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in a joint interview with the first lady of the national news marathon "United News" that the defenders of Mariupol, withdrawn from the Russian-blocked Azovstal plant, should be released by exchange.

A total of 63 missile strikes and 41 air strikes have been carried out since May 19 till today, May 26. The main objectives of the enemy were the objects of transport infrastructure and railways.

The first trial in the Russian military The Solomyansky District Court of Kyiv was considering the case of 21-year-old Sergeant Vadim Shishimarin. The Russian is accused of violating the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder. Russian military Shishimarin was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder of Ukrainian - court verdict.

Ramstein-2 meeting and its results. On April 26, a meeting of the International Defense Advisory Group on Ukraine, convened by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, took place at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany. Heads of defense agencies of more than 40 countries attended the meeting, where it was decided that 50 Gepard anti-aircraft systems from Germany, 8 armored vehicles from Canada and additional anti-aircraft systems from the United Kingdom ought to be sent to Ukraine.

Ukrainian grain blocked in ports cannot be exported. Previously, Russia has blocked 22 million tons of food in Ukrainian ports, and is gradually stealing it, exporting it and trying to sell it, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said after meeting with Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa on May 21 in Kyiv. Blocking the transportation of grains threatens to put tens of millions of people on the brink of food insecurity, followed by malnutrition, mass starvation and a crisis that could last for years.

Ecological catastrophe in Mariupol. Chaotic burials in occupied Mariupol and downpours can lead to contamination of drinking water wells, states Mayor Vadym Boychenko on the air of the national telethon on May 22.

Boychenko reminded that about 100,000 people remain in the city without access to good quality drinking water. At the same time, more than 20,000 civilians died as a result of Russian aggression, many of them buried in the city chaotically.
